Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, I am pleased to announce the winner of Lubricants Travel Award— Duncan Dowson Travel Award 2019.
This award was bestowed upon Binbin Zhang, a Ph.D. student in Professor C.H. Venner’s group at University of Twente. He is planning to present his work “EHL Modeling of Anisotropic Material for Point Contacts” at the 46th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology, France.
This award contributes 500 Swiss Francs towards attending this conference. This was a difficult decision; high-quality applications were made for this award, and we would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and thought-provoking presentations. We congratulate Mr. Zhang for his accomplishment.
