Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to partner with the International Network of Health Workforce Education to publish a Special Issue on “Leadership, Communication and Intercultural Education for Health Professionals” which is aligned to the theme of the European Conference on Health Workforce Education and Research, Athens 2018 (http://inhwe.org/athens-2018). These interconnected topics are at the very top of political and research agendas. Health professionals are dealing with constant changes to both the health systems they work in and the patients they serve. Equipping the health workforce with the skills to deal with this change is of the upmost importance for healthcare educators, researchers and policy makers. Leadership, Communication and Intercultural Education are three distinct but interrelated topics that are assisting health professionals adapt to their changing environment.

As this Special Issue is linked with European Conference on Health Workforce Education and Research, we are asking for all submitters to also attend the conference where a number of presentations and panel sessions from the edition will be presented and discussed in further detail. All submissions for the journal should therefore be submitted on the International Network of Health Workforce Education website: http://inhwe.org/abstract-submission. Please remember to put Pharmacy in the journal submission section of the form.
