Young Investigator Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2019 Societies Young Investigator Award is Dr. Igor Grossmann.

Dr. Grossmann is an Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology at University of Waterloo. His work explores the interplay of sociocultural factors and ethics for wise judgment in the face of daily stressors using a wide range of methods, including big data analytics, psychophysiology, diary surveys, and behavioral experiments. Dr. Grossmann was awarded his PhD in 2012 and his work has been published in such outlets as Proceedings of the Royal Academy: Biological Science, Perspectives on Psychological Science, Psychological Science, Journal of Experimental Psychology, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Grossmann for his outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Grossmann will receive an honorarium of 1000 CHF, an offer to publish a paper free of charge without a fixed deadline in Societies after peer review, and an engraved plaque.
