Industry 4.0 (I4.0) promises that technological advances are happening at an accelerating rate, which is pushing all industries to undergo digital transformation to boost competitiveness, productivity, and business efficiency. As industrial companies transition to Industry 4.0, one of the maturity models that helps them identify opportunities is the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI). SIRI is in line with other international manufacturing initiatives and has the potential to become a global standard for the manufacturing sector’s future. To achieve market competitiveness, smart manufacturing requires the end-to-end integration of Industry 4.0 technologies and SIRI. The successful implementation of such a comprehensive integration depends on carefully selecting the I4.0 technologies to conform to industry requirements. The Influences of I4.0 technologies on SIRI are not clearly outlined in any of the earlier research. Thus, employing a dependable Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methodology using fuzzy TOPSIS, this article aims to analyze the influence of Industry 4.0 technologies on SIRI from the perspectives of both academic and industry experts. Expert opinions were gathered on the relationship between SIRI and I4.0 technologies. TOPSIS utilizes fuzzy theory to address the ambiguity and uncertainty inherent in human judgment. The findings showed that the best I4.0 technology for SIRI is the cyber-physical system (CPS). Full article

Ternary hybrid nanofluid have been revealed to possess a wide range of application disciplines reaching from biomedical engineering, detection of cancer, over or photovoltaic panels and cells, nuclear power plant engineering, to the automobile industry, smart cells and and eventually to heat exchange systems. Inspired by the recent developments in nanotechnology and in particular the high potential ability of use of such nanofluids in practical problems, this paper deals with the flow of a three phase nanofluid of MWCNT-Au/Ag nanoparticles dispersed in blood in the presence of a bidirectional stretching sheet. The model derived in this study yields a set of linked nonlinear PDEs, which are first transformed into dimensionless ODEs. From these ODEs we get a dataset with the help of MATHEMATICA environment, then solved using AI-based technique utilizing Levenberg Marquardt Feedforward Algorithm. In this work, flow characteristics under varying physical parameters have been studied and analyzed and the boundary layer phenomena has been investigated. In detail horizontal, vertical velocity profiles as well as temperature distribution are analyzed. The findings reveal that as the stretching ratio of the surface coincide with an increase the vertical velocity as the surface has thinned in this direction minimizing resistance to the fluid flow. With the rapid advancement of the Internet and big data, data sharing has become pivotal for enhancing operational efficiency and user experience across industries. In the restaurant sector, the emergence of smart kitchens has accelerated digital transformation, underscoring the critical importance of data sharing. In this study, we investigate the evolutionary dynamics among four key stakeholders in the smart kitchen ecosystem: data providers, data-sharing platforms, data consumers, and regulators. We develop a four-party evolutionary game model to analyze the strategic interactions and behavioral evolution of each participant, applying replicator dynamics and Lyapunov stability theory. Our findings reveal that (1) data providers’ willingness to supply high-quality data is strongly influenced by platform incentives; (2) platforms’ adoption of data governance mechanisms depends on associated governance costs; (3) regulatory subsidies contribute significantly to system stability; and (4) increased financial support for regulators promotes favorable system evolution. This work offers both theoretical insights and practical guidance for data sharing in smart kitchens, providing a novel perspective on digital transformation within the restaurant industry. The rapid development of contemporary artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies has given rise to the emerging paradigm of the AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things), which is profoundly impacting human life and driving the digital transformation of industries and society. The AIoT not only enhances product functionality and convenience but also accelerates the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, the widespread adoption of these technologies still poses challenges related to social inclusivity, particularly regarding insufficient accessibility for elderly users, which may exacerbate the digital divide and social inequality, contradicting SDG 10 (reducing inequality). This study integrates AIoT product development processes based on sustainability and universal design principles using methods such as Quality Function Deployment, the Analytic Hierarchy Process, the Scenario Method, the Entropy Weight Method, and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation. The features of this process include ease of operation and high flexibility, making it suitable for cross-departmental product development while prioritizing the needs of diverse age groups throughout the development process. The research findings indicate that the AIoT product concepts proposed can meet the needs of diverse users, contributing to the realization of age-friendly products. This study provides a reference point for future AIoT product development, promoting the inclusive and sustainable development of smart technology. Full article

Management of smart greenhouses represents a transformative advancement in precision agriculture, enabling sustainable intensification of food production through the integration of multi-sensor networks, intelligent control, and sophisticated data filtering techniques. Unlike conventional greenhouses that rely on manual monitoring, smart greenhouses combine environmental sensors, Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven decision making to optimize microclimates, improve yields, and enhance resource efficiency. This review systematically investigates three key technological pillars, multi-sensor monitoring, intelligent control, and data filtering techniques, for smart greenhouse environment management. A structured literature screening of 114 peer-reviewed studies was conducted across major databases to ensure methodological rigor. The analysis compared sensor technologies such as temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2), light, and energy to evaluate the control strategies such as IoT-based automation, fuzzy logic, model predictive control, and reinforcement learning, along with filtering methods like time- and frequency-domain, Kalman, AI-based, and hybrid models. Major findings revealed that multi-sensor integration enhanced precision and resilience but faced changes in calibration and interoperability. Intelligent control improved energy and water efficiency yet required robust datasets and computational resources. Advanced filtering strengthens data integrity but raises concerns of scalability and computational cost. The distinct contribution of this review was an integrated synthesis by linking technical performance to implementation feasibility, highlighting pathways towards affordable, scalable, and resilient smart greenhouse systems. Power systems are undergoing a transformative transition as consumers seek greater participation in managing electricity systems. This shift has given rise to the concept of “prosumers,” individuals who both consume and produce electricity, primarily through renewable energy sources. While renewables offer undeniable environmental benefits, they also introduce significant energy management challenges. One major concern is the variability in energy consumption patterns within households, which can lead to inefficiencies. Also, improper energy management can result in economic losses due to unbalanced energy control or inefficient systems. Home Energy Management Systems (HEMSs) have emerged as a promising solution to address these challenges. A well-designed HEMS enables users to achieve greater efficiency in managing their energy consumption, optimizing asset usage while ensuring cost savings and system reliability. This paper presents a comprehensive systematic review of optimization techniques applied to HEMS development between 2019 and 2024, focusing on key technical and computational factors influencing their advancement. The review categorizes optimization techniques into two main groups: conventional methods, emerging techniques, and machine learning methods. By analyzing recent developments, this study provides an integrated perspective on the evolving role of HEMSs in modern power systems, highlighting trends that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of energy management in smart grids. Unifying taxonomy of HEMSs (2019–2024) and integrating mathematical, heuristic/metaheuristic, and ML/DRL approaches across horizons, controllability, and uncertainty, we assess algorithmic complexity versus tractability, benchmark comparative evidence (cost, PAR, runtime), and highlight deployment gaps (privacy, cybersecurity, AMI/HAN, and explainability), offering a novel synthesis for AI-enabled HEMS. High-quality development highlights the importance of environmental protection and green low-carbon development. The high-quality development of the manufacturing industry is not only the key content for achieving green transformation, but also an important cornerstone for building a modern national industrial system. Current research focuses on companies and governments, ignoring the important value of suppliers and consumers. As a result, existing mechanisms have failed to deliver the desired results. This paper constructs an evolutionary game model involving manufacturing enterprises, local governments, suppliers, and consumers, and systematically analyzes the strategy selection process of the four participating populations. On this basis, the impact of exogenous and endogenous factors on the evolutionarily stable strategy is studied at the microscopic level using numerical simulation methods. The results show that (1) increasing any of the endogenous factors, such as innovative capability, organization building, and industrial resources, can accelerate the evolution of manufacturing enterprises evolve to smart upgrade strategy. (2) Increasing any one of the exogenous factors, such as policy environment, industrial cooperation, and market demand, can accelerate the rate at which manufacturing enterprises choose to adopt the strategy of smart upgrade. The purpose of this paper is to provide a theoretical reference for the behavioral strategies of manufacturing enterprises, and to provide a realistic reference for local governments to build a mechanism to promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. As more machine learning models are used in sensitive fields like healthcare, finance, and smart infrastructure, protecting structured tabular data from privacy attacks is a key research challenge. Although several privacy-preserving methods have been proposed for tabular data, a comprehensive comparison of their performance and trade-offs has yet to be conducted. We introduce and empirically assess a combined defense system that integrates differential privacy, federated learning, adaptive noise injection, hybrid cryptographic encryption, and ensemble-based obfuscation. The given strategies are analyzed on the benchmark tabular datasets (ADULT, GSS, FTE), showing that the suggested methods can mitigate up to 50 percent of model inversion attacks in relation to baseline models without decreasing the model utility (F1 scores are higher than 0.85). Moreover, on these datasets, our results match or exceed the latest state-of-the-art (SOTA) in terms of privacy. We also transform each defense into essential data privacy laws worldwide (GDPR and HIPAA), suggesting the best applicable guidelines for the ethical and regulation-sensitive deployment of privacy-preserving machine learning models in sensitive spaces.
