It was my honor and great pleasure to be the guest Editor of the Special Issue of Nutrients entitled “Dietary Habits, Beneficial Exercise, and Chronic Diseases: Latest Advances and Prospects”. The scope of this issue was the relationship between dietary habits (macronutrients, micronutrients, meal frequency, etc.) and/or exercise with metabolic, cardiovascular, neurological, mental, rheumatic, inflammatory, gastrointestinal, odontostomatological, and other chronic diseases. This Special Issue can be valuable to any scientist or clinician working in the field of medicine, nutrition, and exercise. This valuable contribution could only be realized thanks to the high-quality contributions of the authors. I have published with a number of journal publishing companies. In the past, I spent time looking at a range of companies in deciding where to publish. Since publishing with MDPI, a publishing house of almost 400 journal titles, my decision when publishing is now limited to determining which MDPI journal is appropriate for my current manuscript. Although there is a processing charge for publication—and, depending on the journal, this can be high—authors can reduce their publishing fee to 0 if they also engage with MDPI journals as reviewers, for which they receive vouchers towards their next publication. The staff at MDPI are knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt in their replies, while the editors are very approachable and accommodating. The graphic design of the articles once published is also outstanding. I really can't say enough to praise MDPI and recommend their journals as an excellent choice for article publication.
