“We were invited by the editors to write a review in the special issue “Inflammatory Skin Conditions 2017”. We really appreciated the experience of publishing this article, the editorial staff was professional, the three reviewers did an excellent job to help us improve the quality of the paper and it was published very quickly: the whole process took less than 3 weeks. “This was my first submission to IJMS. I was invited to contribute to a special issue devoted to the mechanism of action of estrogen receptors. For that purpose, I wrote an overview upon the biological function of natural anti-ER alpha antibodies, in the context of breast cancer emergence and evolution. Review of this topic not usually addressed was accurate and rapid. All publishing steps were kindly performed with high efficiency giving rise to the final form of the paper within solely one month after its submission. I wish warmly thank the Editorial team for its excellent work. I already notified colleagues of this statement.”

“My lab recently published two invited review articles for special issues in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, one on the structural aspects of chemokines and the other on galectins in cancer. These experiences were excellent. The editors and staff at IJMS were all professional, the review process was rapid, and the user-friendly editorial phase worked flawlessly. I will certainly consider this Journal for publication of my scientific research papers in the future.”

“I have published several papers in International Journals of Molecular Sciences and, in fact, I am just about to submit my next manuscripts to this journal, because:
• It covers a broad spectrum of subjects and many open special issues
• It has a competent editorial board and professional production team, resulting in a short publication time and better-quality papers.
• It is recognized as a good journal in scientific community.
Recently, I have been proposed to co-edit a special issue of IJMS and the cooperation with the editorial team with this regard confirm its professionality.”

“Recently, I was asked to contribute a review article, entitled “Electron Microscopic Recording of the Power and Recovery Strokes of Individual Myosin Heads Coupled with ATP Hydrolysis: Facts and Implications”, to a special issue of IJMS. As I am an old, retired professor, I encountered series difficulties in preparing illustrations from my papers. However, the editors kindly prepared high quality illustrations for me from my published reprints. I very much appreciate their kind help, as well as their rapid management in obtaining reviewers comments, which were fair and instructive. I will recommend my friends to submit papers to IJMS.”

“In modern scientific world it is sometimes hard for researchers to timely publish their valuable results. The peer review process could take up to 6 months before reaching a first decision. Such delays are not welcomed by funding agencies and can postpone the timely project reporting. It was my first experience with IJMS and I was very comfortable to get my work published in less than 50 days. Interestingly, I was able to communicate with the editorial staff if encountered any problem throughout the publication process. Personally I think the peer review process is ideal in IJMS and could be followed by other journals. I would recommend to opt this journal based on one's results.”

“I had started writing my review unsure of its destination journal. When I was approached by the guest editors of the IJMS special issue on plant cell wall proteins it was an apparent choice. Submission was extremely fast and simple compared to many other journals (30 minutes at max.). Given the length of my MS, the initial review was relatively fast (ca. 4 weeks). The following revisions and edits were mostly straightforward because the MS had already been correctly formatted. A minor problem during the proof phase was a confusion of the order of references. However, after my call for help to the editor, this was fixed in a breeze. Taken together, publishing in IJMS was a thoroughly pleasant experience.”
