Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsTitle : Developments of Core/Shell Chitosan–Based Nanofibers By Electrospinning Techniques: A Review
Manuscript ID : fibers-2818455
The manuscript is a literature review of recent research works on development of various chitosan–based nanofibers (membranes, patches, mats, scaffolds) that have been designed by emulsion and coaxial electrospinning techniques.
The topic discussed in this review is very interesting. The language of the manuscript is moreorless good. Results presented in this manuscript are of great interest.
This paper could be accepted for publication in Fibers after authors address the major revisions given below:
* The authors should give also the novelty of their work among others in the same topic.
* Some cited works are presented in long paragraphs (eg. 70, 51, …). Research works should be synthetized as max as possible.
* Abbréviations, mainly of polymer names, should be used after presenting full polymer name in first apparition in text.
* In some sections authors present a gather of literature works without discussion of them. So, I suggest that authors reinforce the discussion aspect essential in a review article.
* Detailed comments are reported on the attached file : Comments-fibers-2818455.pdf

Thanks to authors for the great effort they make when revising the present review paper. They kindly addressed the issues that I requested. In addition, they gave convincing explanations and added useful paragraphs and literature references, so the manuscript is now more consistent and well structured. Moreover, the spelling mistakes of the manuscript were checked and corrected, so as this version is well written in an easier language and more clear for readers.
Final decision : this paper could be published in Fibers journal in its present form.
