MDPI launches new open access journal Publications and appoints Dr. John J. Regazzi as its founding Editor-in-Chief

We are pleased to announce the launch of Publications (ISSN 2304-6775), a new journal on academic, scholarly, and professional publishing and the appointment of its Editor-in-Chief Prof. Dr. John J. Regazzi.

Publications is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which provides an advanced forum for studies related to all aspects of academic, scholarly, and professional publishing. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their research and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers.

Prof. Dr. John J. Regazzi, Editor in Chief of Publications, said: "I am delighted to assume the role of Editor-in-Chief of Publications, an important new journal for the scholarly communications and publishing fields.  The field is at a crossroads, and Publications will record the new important developments now occurring on an almost daily basis".

Prof. Dr. John J. Regazzi of the Long Island University has been called a "pioneer" and "true innovator" of the information industry with a career spanning more than 35 years. Over his career John has previously served on a wide range of industry associations at the board or senior levels in the organizations including Association of American Publishers, American Library Association, Information Industry Association, Software & Information Industry of America, International Federation of Library Associations, and was presented the Miles Conrad Award from the National Federation of Access and Information Services.
