Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Nanomaterials with enzyme-like activity (nanozymes) have been widely employed in the construction of optical sensors due to their advantages of high stability, good biocompatibility, and ease of modification. To date, many nanozyme-involved principles and methods have been explored and applied in clinical diagnosis, environmental monitoring, food safety control, and forensic analysis. In this Special Issue, we take particular interest in manuscripts that discuss the principles and mechanisms of detection, rational design and relevant application in the optical biosensing of nanozymes. We invite authors to contribute original research and review articles that will stimulate further basic research on the development and application of nanomaterials with enzyme-like properties.

Potential topics suitable for this Special Issue include, but are not limited to, the following: the catalytic principles and mechanisms of nanozymes, detection mechanisms and design principles, and nanomaterials with enzyme-like activities for optical biosensing.
