Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue, “Genitourinary Cancer: The Latest Advances in Diagnosis and Therapy”, aims to gather an article collection of scientific excellence in the field of genitourinary cancer. This includes a broad-based group of genitourinary (GU) cancers in the urinary systems of both men and women. In recent years, there have been substantial advancements in both the diagnostics and therapy of entities in this group, and, therefore, we find it of crucial interest for a broad medical audience to present clinical and basic research elucidating novel tumor biology-related data, as well as their potential and recognized clinical and therapeutic impact. I think there is an emerging area of research that needs to be highlighted.
We encourage researchers to apply original research studies and rare case studies with a review of the literature as well as focused review articles since, over the last decade and more, there has been significant progress in the understanding and management of genitourinary tumors, with the introduction of new surgical options and the introduction of new therapy approaches, which without doubt are revolutionizing the management of tumor entities in this field. Articles describing novelties in prevention, epidemiology, detection, diagnosis, and new data from diverse therapeutically applicable options as well as basic research studies are welcomed.
