I am pleased to announce this Special Issue of Geriatrics, which is dedicated to exploring the topic of “Molecular Causes of Ageing”. Due to the ever-increasing older population, understanding the fundamental mechanisms governing the ageing process is imperative. This Special Issue aims to provide a comprehensive platform for disseminating cutting-edge research that elucidates the molecular underpinnings of ageing.

Ageing, a complex biological phenomenon, is a subject of intense interest across multiple scientific disciplines. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Geriatrics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
