The International Conference on Hydrogen Horizons (ICH2) is an international forum dedicated to hydrogen technologies, innovation, and collaboration across the full value chain. Organized within the framework of the H2 Green Valley Agenda, the conference aims to present key results of the Agenda while also bringing together researchers, innovators, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss the role of hydrogen in shaping a resilient and sustainable world.
The first edition of ICH2 will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 21 to 24 September 2026, at the Museu do Oriente. Lisbon offers an inspiring setting for dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, bringing together heritage, innovation, and an international outlook.
Over four days, ICH2 will offer a dynamic environment for scientific exchange and cross-sector engagement. The programme will include keynote lectures, technical sessions, poster presentations, thematic discussions, and technical visits, addressing major challenges and opportunities across the hydrogen sector.
As part of the dissemination and outreach efforts of the H2 Green Valley Agenda (www.h2greenvalley.pt), funded under the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and managed by IAPMEI, the conference will highlight relevant developments and achievements of the Agenda while placing them in dialogue with broader scientific, technological, regulatory, and industrial perspectives.
By combining scientific exchange, industrial engagement, and institutional dialogue, ICH2 aims to strengthen knowledge-sharing, foster new collaborations, and establish itself as a reference platform for the hydrogen community.
