Dear Colleagues,
Computer vision and pattern recognition are two popular research directions in the field of computer science. They are widely used in image and video processing, human–computer interactions, machine learning, artificial intelligence and other fields. These applications have brought enhanced convenience to human life and production. This Special Issue will focus on the latest advances and hot topics in computer vision and pattern recognition, covering aspects of applications, technology and future trends. Our aim in launching this Issue is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to use as a forum to exchange and showcase the latest achievements in this field.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Information is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
