Dear Colleagues,
Increasing amounts of sensors are being utilized. A large number of one-dimensional sensor data, two-dimensional image data, high-dimensional time series data, etc., are being collected. These data are used in various detection and control tasks, such as real-time monitoring, quality control, anomaly detection, disease diagnosis, energy optimization, etc. These tasks require the mathematical theory support of various signal processing, data pre-processing, classification, and anomaly detection. This Special Issue aims to show the latest development in these mathematical theories and their applications.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Mathematics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
