Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue focuses on the role of the physicochemical properties of drugs in determining their pharmacokinetic properties, especially drug bioavailability, distribution, metabolism, and renal excretion. Additionally, this Special Issue will provide novel pharmacokinetics findings that stem from the physical and chemical properties of drugs.
The scope of the Special Issue includes the following:
- Explore the role of novel transporters and drug metabolizing enzymes in modulating the pharmacokinetics of drugs;
- Provide structure–activity relationships related to the impact of specific functions of groups on the pharmacokinetics and/or pharmacodynamics of drugs.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Molecules is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
