Special Issue Information

The journal Plants is jointly publishing a Special Issue entitled “Soil Health for Paddy Rice”. This Special Issue aims to publish full-length research papers and review articles on solutions of paddy soil problems of heavy metal pollution and tailwater irrigation. This Special Issue also aims to explore nutrition imbalances, soil acid, herbicides, and weed banks, among others. In total, research focusing on soil health and improvements in soil sustainable production are welcome. Moreover, new management approaches that make use of safer and cleaner technologies and biotechnologies for improving paddy healthy have garnered a significant amount of interest, and research on the understanding of the regulatory mechanisms involved in paddy soil health is also within the scope of this Special Issue.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Plants is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
