Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue aims at providing the current landscape of the biomimetics in different research areas, such as biology, engineering, and mathematics, with a main focus on symmetry and structuring in biomimetics. The topics of interest are modelling the complexity of nature, evolving structures, functional properties and designs, application of biomimetics in engineering problems, scale bridging in biomimetics from nano- to macro-scale, morphing, and bio-inspired mathematical models.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Symmetry is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
