Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

In this manuscript Alajlani and Backlund describes the comparison of Bedaquiline to other antituberculosis compounds by ChemGPS. The traditional approach of drug discovery is time consuming and only a small percent molecules reaches clinical trials. That's why every new computational methods that help in preliminary screening is really important. Using Bedaquiline as a model compound the authors demonstrated that using physico chemical similarity instead of traditional chemical similarity can indeed be a helpful method of searching for new drug candidates.

The preparation of the manuscript is a bit sloppy, there are many typos and grammatical mistakes.

Author Response

Thank you very much for your positive feedback. We are indeed grateful for your time and notes.
