Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors have addressed all of my concerns of the previous review.

Reviewer 2 Report

I think the authors nicely addressed my suggestions.

Reviewer 3 Report

It is my opinion that the authors have responded appropriately to all comments, so improving the quality of the manuscript. Although further work will be needed, this review adequately presents the state of the arts regarding the possible roles of chloride in the plants.
