Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The study entitled “Extracellular matrix derived from high metastatic human breast cancer triggers epithelial mesenchymal transition in epithelial breast cancer cells through αvβ3 integrin” shows that ECM produced by a high metastatic breast cancer cell (MDA-MB 231) is able to induce epithelial-mesenchymal transition in a low-metastatic, epithelial breast cancer cell line (MCF-7) through avb3 integrin. The subject of the manuscript is interesting and the study appears well performed and the manuscript is well written and
organized. Personally, I think that the manuscript is suitable for publication and that ijms would be an appropriate place for it to be published.
