Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsIn this work, Ferenczy and coworkers describe the different orientations of Aβ(25-35) on mica lattice using AFM and MD simulations to predict their molecular behaviour.
The results are potentially interesting for their application in the biotechnological field.
My only concern is about the reliability of the simulations. As the authors may be aware, short MD simulations may underestimate some critical events; therefore, to make these results even more appealing, I would suggest performing two additional 100 ns replicas for each simulation to have an idea of their reproducibility.
Comments on the Quality of English LanguageAn extensive review of the English Language should be applied. Moreover, the character used for "β" in the paper is wrong. It should be replaced with the one reported in line 103, which is the correct one.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsReferee report on the paper “Mica lattice orientation of epitaxially grown amyloid Abeta 25-35 fibrils by György G. Ferenczy, Ünige Murvai, Lívia Fülöp and Miklós Kellermayer - ijms-3214734
By using high-resolution atomic force microscopy, the Authors are able to elucidate the arrangement of Abeta25-35 fibrils on a mica lattice. To validate the structure and test the stability of the oriented fibrils, molecular dynamics simulations on beta-sheets models were carried out.
The paper contains sufficiently interesting structural information to deserve publication in ijms.
