This is overall a well-written and well-performed short note on the synthesis and characterization of a thiaheterocylic compound, which fits perfectly for the scope of Molbank. Both the experimental work and determination of the crystal structure have been expertly conducted.
Although the English usage is generally correct, some parts need a slight English polishing. But this is the task of the MDPI Editorial service.
line 146: pure white liquid of 2 used in the further....
write as "spectroscopically pure colorless liquid of 2......
The compound numbers should also be written throughout the manuscript in bold
Both the crystal structure and molecular structure should be compared with structurally related scaffolds

Thank you for your comments. It was pointed out that Z-isomerism is typical for 5-arylidene-4-thiazolidinones, which may be confirmed by both 1Н NMR spectra and X-ray analysis. Accordingly, another reference (14) has been added.
