Cover Story: The provision of health education to individuals can not be effective without the use of instruments that allow positive changes or empower decision making; it is therefore very important to create these materials for the participation of interested people. For this reason, we invite you to read the paper “Educational Strategies in Patients with Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes”, in which the design and creation of didactic materials with experts on the subject, both patients and health professionals, are explained. The validation was carried out in accordance with the attraction criteria, understanding, commitment, and acceptance. It was confirmed that all of the criteria were above the minimum range, helping adherence in people with high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus. View this paper
