Author need to justify why specifically choose Hg in the study. Any study by other researchers that relate the COVID-19 and Hg can be included to stronger the justification. Author is highlight the  Hg discharge into the aquatic environment? Suggest to add statistic study how the COVID-19 and the Hg is related in the Mercury emissions and COVID-19 in the Amazon: a proposal for a case study.
