Reviewer 2 Report

This is a very interesting and meaningful work. In this study, the 3-PG model was applied to the calculation of carbon sequestration of Cedrus atlantica ((Endl.) Manetti ex Carrière, and the parameters were optimized and the model was verified, which proved the reliability of the method. However, some details still need to be improved.

(1) What is the size of the sample plot?

(2) How can the results of parameter sensitivity analysis be applied to parameter optimization?

(3) It is necessary to discuss the inheritance and innovation between the results of this method and other existing research results.
