Specify the mass percentage of all components in Table 1.

Provide information on the number of specimens used in each test.

Indicate the load cell used in the mechanical test and describe the shape and dimensions of the specimens.

Clearly outline how the FTIR analysis was conducted, distinguishing between the liquid and powder states before and after curing.

Discuss if the methodological variation might impact the analysis results.

Specify the heating rate used for determining TG.

Clearly label the y-axis and correct the x-axis legend in Figure 2.

Consider a lower heating rate for better differentiation in the TG results.

Perform statistical analysis to assess significant differences between groups concerning tensile and compressive strength.

Ensure that all images in Figure 5 have similar magnification and provide a scale for size reference.

Hygrothermal Treatment (Figure 5): Clarify if the changes in mechanical properties were observed in a single sample.

Provide the mean and standard deviation for a comprehensive understanding.

Descreva claramente como a análise FTIR foi conduzida, distinguindo entre os estados líquido e em pó antes e depois da cura.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The study has been prepared and presented well; however, I have some minor comments below:

My main concerns about wood material tested. In the stud, both wood species seems not to be differentiated in terms of sapwood and heartwood. Probably in real case scenarios, both parts of wood are available in ancient buildings. However, in a scientific study it might be expected to evaluate both sapwood and heartwood seperately. Red-heart Chinese fir is regarded as one of the best timbers and is widely used for construction, railroad ties, mine timber, furniture, and other purposes, and its use has rapidly expanded in recent years. Now it accounts for a large proportion of all Chinese fir plantations in China. In addition, as known, sapwood and heartwood may have generally different physical, mechanical and chemical properties. Thus bonding properties, shear strength act. are expected to be different.

The other concept might be physical status of timber to be reinforced. The study focuses on reinforcement of sound wood; however, again in real case scenarios, wood to be reinforced with resins might contain decay pockets, decayed zones, cracks, etc.. So, more details and discussion are needed for such cases i.e. the effect of decayed wood on resin bonding.

Article have a weak scientific level, but is good informative for technical production.
Article have good division of chapters but text is opaque.

Investigation of viscosity would like to measured by another working temperature. What is relation  between vicosity and fluidity? How was viscosity measured (dynamic or kinematic)?
Subsection in chapter methodst do not have a marked number of repeated measurements. Were any statistic done?
I would like to divided Chapter 2.3.6 to subsection (FTIR and DSC and microscopy) and I would like better describe why is methods are using.   Unit in this chapter is not good writed (reciprocal centimeter is not cm-1 but *cm^−1 *).

Figure in the articel should be better visible. In conclusion is not good specified the goal of reaserch and sustainability.
Are any of your epoxy resins, curing agent or defoamer used?

In references are more asiating authors, another authors dont have research in this area?

I missing in the articel discusion result with another authors. Referenc in results are mostly by theory of measurment and nou comaparating of results.
