Thank you so much for your constructive comments. Thereby, we added ref 22 in the introduction section to clarify the EEG findings and the impact of associated abnormalities (whether genetically determined or of environmental background).
All our patients manifested the classical infantile spasm but with different timing. This was clearly connected to the timing of the early total closure of the cranial sutures.
