Theoretical Framework for Informal Groups of Construction Workers: A Grounded Theory Study
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Including abstract paper needs to be rewritten.
Line 10: The construction industry is notorious for its high safety accident rate and declining labor Productivity. ( are the accidents the cause of the declining labor productivity?)
Line 11 Hawthorne’s experiment concluded that informal groups cannot be ignored in the management of workers. (In abstract you are mentioning this experiments but readers do not have a knowledge about it)
There are so many grammar and language problems also content is confusing to make connections. I will suggest rewritten and send to the English editing before goes to the reviewers.

Overall, it is a well-written abstract that makes the reader interested in IGCW. The results indicated the improvement in several categories, but it might be a good idea to quantify or compare to previous results how it changed and what the metric was.
The result is vague and it doesn't specify what is the impact of IGCW. A lot of promising improvements were claimed in the result statements.
NVivo acronym should be explained when the author(s) use it for the first time in the paper.
It may helps the general audience if the author(s) give a short example of IGCW

This is an interesting study and authors have systematically developed a grounded theory. My main concern is related to the significant of the study to the construction industry. Why do authors think contractors would be interested to know about these informal groups? It is notable that the rate of turn over is very high among construction workers, these groups can rapidly change.
