Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The aim of the present study is the analysis of possibilities for using renewable energy sources in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

The current form of the manuscript is divided into distinct sections and each section contains a specific type of information that supports the aim of the study.

However, authors could have include also aspects of the strategies for the sustainable development of industrial parks for the production of renewable energy sources in a systematic approach. How the concept of industrial symbiosis can support and optimize the utilization of biomass for energy purposes in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina?

Author Response

1) Also aspects of the strategies for sustainable development included in new chapter (6. Uses of crop residues for energy purposes and proposals for future action).

2) English language are spell checked and corrected.

Reviewer 2 Report

An interesting paper for the region through the information will have limited to no appeal outside Serbia.  While it is a strong case study, there are limited new methods or science generated through the work.  It would be preferable if the authors presented a new/novel method to identify the true potential for energy use as compared to total available biomass.  There would be scope to better acknowledge and address competition for the biomass for other economic uses or other ecological uses.  In general, the statements of truth in the introduction could be better supported by references.

Author Response

1) A new chapter has been included in the paper (6. Uses of crop residues for energy purposes and proposals for future action)

2) English language are spell checked and corrected.
