This paper investigates AI principles and use in PE, and presents a focused, in-depth analysis of the areas of PE technology where AI could be applied, namely customized PE classes, knowledge provision, learner evaluation, and learner counseling methods. The findings highlight the expertise required for future PE teachers in applying AI. Due to the high demand for AI in everyday life, this study is worthy. However, the following concerns need to be addressed:

1. Please illustrate the novelty of the paper. While there are papers in the past just like “Artificial intelligence and modern sports education technology”. Published in 2010. Similarly, “Research on the Application Strategy of Modern Information Technology in Physical Education” published in 2019.
2. Provide some recent papers explaining the use of AI in physical education or related fields. Preferably published in the last 3 years. There is a paper published in springer as a chapter with the title “The Application of Artificial Intelligence Technology in Physical Education”. Published in September 2020. The link is here.

Can you please elaborate on what is the novelty of mentioning some of the latest papers?

3. What is your proposed model for the application of AI in modern PE? How your proposed model is different from the previous ones.
4. Please provide some case studies and comparative results in the tabular form between PE without AI and using AI.
5. In lines #526 and 527 you have mentioned that for physical educational technology research, comparison with findings from other disciplines is lacking. Have you considered this aspect for your study and how it can be tackled?
6. Use the latest latex format for the template of the paper.
7. Provide the limitations in more detail with some examples.
