Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors,

The article develops a topical issue. There are several points of the article that should be improved:

  • You have a free space in the row 45. Remove it.
  • Check editing for the entire article. You sometimes have two free spaces between words.
  • It is necessary to better explain what you mean by aquatic resources in the introduction.
  • In Figure 1, the legend must be larger to be read. Also add the source to the map. For example ”our processing from open source GIS”.
  • In the row 125 describes latitude and longitude in degrees, minutes, and seconds.
  • In the row 126 leave a free space between 8,560 and km2.
  • In the climate description, from the Study methods section, mention the type of climate. Complete the climate description with the average annual temperature and the time period for which these values are calculated.
  • A more detailed description of the methods used is required.
  • You need to explain what you mean by ”available goods and services”.
  • I propose to unite the study methods and analytical framework sections into one - Data and methods. Follow the structure of an article.
  • You did not use section enumeration up to point 3. Standardize editing in the article.
  • You have the title of table 1 on one page and the table on the next. To be on the same page.
  • Check the correctness of the table numbers.
  • The tables are not numbered correctly. The table number 4 is actually table number 2.
  • There is a need to standardize the way tables are edited.
  • Explain what FGD means first and then using the acronym.
  • It is enough to write only conclusions. Remove the word research from research conclusions.

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors,

I appreciate your effort to improve the article.

I suggest a few more aspects for your article. These are:

  • At point 3.1 for the air temperature also pass the values in degrees Celsius. Also mention the reference period for these values.
  • At the source of the figure 1 use the plural for ”author” and mention the software used (as an example QGIS or ArcGIS etc.).
  • At line 188 explain what the acronyms ADC and VDC mean.

All the best!
