The authors are presenting an optimization model of transport of industrial hazardous waste based on GSCM.  Good methodology but points below needs to be addressed:

1- The paper in many sections doesnt refer to the references ( example page 1).

2- in Section two, it has been said, based on the green SCM theory, as a SCM expert, Green SCM is not a theory. it is one of the approaches that supply chain select such as lean, agile , resilient, etc...So I would expect authors to clarify this. You are talking about a theory, then there is no section on clarifying how this theory is backing up your research. 

3- Before section 2, I would like to see other models, mentioning their positive and negative points and review of other authors works, then coming to the gap and how the authors are improving the model and filling the current gaps. 

4- I think  the authors need to clearly state what is the paper contribution in terms of research and practice. This is completely missed in the last section. They need to mention the limitations of their research and introduce the future path for research.

Those comments are all valuable and very helpful for revising and improving our paper, as well as the important guiding significance to our researches. We have studied comments carefully and have made correction which we hope meet with approval. The main corrections in the paper and the responds to the reviewer’s comments are as flowing:

 

  1. The paper in many sections doesnt refer to the references ( example page 1).

 

Response: Some formatting errors may have occurred when the article was uploaded. This paper has made up the references by adjusting the manuscript.

 

  1. in Section two, it has been said, based on the green SCM theory, as a SCM expert, Green SCM is not a theory. it is one of the approaches that supply chain select such as lean, agile , resilient, etc...So I would expect authors to clarify this. You are talking about a theory, then there is no section on clarifying how this theory is backing up your research.

 

Response: Thank you for your correction. There is a cognitive bias in our clear definition of green supply chain management, which leads to the use of wrong wording in relevant explanation. We have revised and clarified this error in a full range of aspects in the article.

 

  1. 3. Before section 2, I would like to see other models, mentioning their positive and negative points and review of other authors works, then coming to the gap and how the authors are improving the model and filling the current gaps.

 

Response: We summarize and extract the advantages and disadvantages of several typical hazardous waste treatment models and supplement them in the second paragraph of the second chapter of the article

 

  1. 4.I think  the authors need to clearly state what is the paper contribution in terms of research and practice. This is completely missed in the last section. They need to mention the limitations of their research and introduce the future path for research.

 

Response: We have made a supplement to your suggestion.

 

Contribution of this paper in research and practice: 

in this simulation experiment, the genetic tabu search algorithm is proposed, and by comparing the first-generation transportation path with the last-generation transportation path. It can be found that the algorithm can optimize the path, making the sum of each part of the path at a low level. And by comparing the average value and minimum value of the results of each generation. It can be concluded that the convergence of this hybrid algorithm is similar to that of the 6th ~ 8th generation. It can be seen that the convergence ability of this algorithm is strong. Moreover, by observing the final result graph, it can be observed that the result has a certain global optimality. It shows that this algorithm plays a significant role in optimizing the dual-path transport model of industrial wastes, and the use of this model can reduce the harm of industrial wastes to the environment during transport.

Limitations of the research:

this algorithm also has some problems. This algorithm focuses too much on the optimal distance while neglecting the storage points and the utilization rate of hazardous and waste transport vehicles, resulting in a certain waste of resources.

Future Prospects:

Its deficiency in this paper, based on the above research results, the future will join the classification of waste collection points, transit storage utilization optimization, considering traffic, limiting factors such as population density, improve transport links environmental emergency contingency plans, establish a complete set of effective synergy of hazardous waste transportation disposal system of supply chain,

Further in-depth digital practice of green supply chain management.

I think that to improve the paper authors have to do following things: 

1. Please define and discuss the research gaps and research questions.
2. Please define the main goal of paper.
3. Please modify the introduction - is to long. 
4. Define: The contribution of the paper is not clear, thus, the authors shall to clarify the contribution in the introduction. What the novelty of your work compared to other published papers? 
5. Add the part “Literature Review”. 
6. Add the part "Analysis". In this part there should be more specific, crucial  and essential comments.  
7. Concluding remarks is too short. Conclusion should include the answer to the research question posed and further directions of research. 
8. Please try to choose the recent 2 years books and journals. Add new bibliography - and quote it.
9. No references to the journal.

Comprehensive described above, the present scholars mainly on the transportation of dangerous goods issue to consider is transportation risk and transportation cost, each have differences in model construction and algorithm, but no scholars to carry hazardous waste transportation problem and the combination of green supply chain management, comprehensive consideration of various factors such as cost, risk and environment friendly.

Research question:

We will put the green supply chain management at the core of the spirit (resource saving, environment friendly) into the waste, waste transportation model under GTA algorithm to improve environmental protection enterprise in the purchase and production of industrial hazardous waste storage, handling and transportation problems, industrial hazardous waste transportation efficiency and the optimal solution of environment friendly.

 

  1. Please define the main goal of paper.

 

Response: Based on green supply chain management method, in view of the hazardous waste transfer point location, transportation, building the environmental protection enterprise in purchasing green transportation of hazardous waste processing model, aims to improve the efficiency of hazardous waste disposal, avoid secondary pollution of the environment, forming procurement - transportation - storage - transportation - processing or purchasing - transportation - treatment of coordinate process more efficient operation.Finally, a management structure linking green procurement of environmental protection enterprises to green production is formed under the requirements of green supply chain management integrating information technology and big data, including green procurement of environmental protection enterprises, green storage of hazardous waste storage points and green disposal of enterprises.

Response: In this paper the main contribution of the paper establishes the green environmental protection enterprises procurement, storage point green storage, green businesses treatment of hazardous waste collection informatization, big data in the integration of request of green supply chain management to the green environmental protection enterprise green purchasing production transportation management model of cohesion, is along with the digital of the green supply chain management practices.
