-          Line 15: lactic acid produce by microbes can also be racemic. Suggest adding ‘when specific microbial strains were used’ in the sentences

-          Please include objective of your study

-          Include reason why author want to isolate lactic acid producer from milk industry?

Materials and Methods

-          Figure 1: What are the definition of ‘before treatment’ and ‘after treatment’? Suggest including this information in the figure note.

-          Figure 1: What are the differences in left picture and right picture? Please include explanation in Figure caption.

-          Figure 2 was not mentioned anywhere in the manuscript.

-          Line 90: why additional glucose was needed? The broth already have sugar inside?

-          Line 91: what is the name of fermentation broth used here? Please include.

-          Line 92: include temperature of room temperature. The might be different from room at different location.

-          Line 170: what is BCP-MRS method? In Figure 1 supplementary file shows TLC of Standard LA and Microbial LA, not BCP-MRS as mentioned by author.

-          Line 183: Why author use the term Plate instead of figure?

-          Plate 1: Lactic acid production graph data is not clearly presented.

Abstract

-          Line 19: Remove the in “… This study the produced sustainable lactic acid…”

Introduction

-          Line 59 – 62: I would suggest to remove the result statement from introduction section as “… In this study, high lactic acid production has been achieved through fermentation using sugarcane molasses as a carbon source by Novel Non-fastidious Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain J2V2AA isolated from milk industry effluent [18]..”

Material and Methods

-          Figure 1: Suggest the author to not mixed up the location for isolation lactic acid producing bacteria and location for sugarcane molasses. Location for sugarcane molasses should be included under Subtopic 2.3. Suggest to rename the Figure 1 caption to: Location for milk effluent sample collection.

-          Line 92 – 93: please correct grammatical and typing error in the sentences. What do the author means by minimal SM concentration? I would suggest to include the minimum value in the text.

Result and discussions:

-          No statistical analysis was included in the figure to determine the significant different or not. Normally, the significant difference of sample

-          Line 177 – 178: please include explanation on feedback mechanisms.

-          Line 226 – 227: Please rewrite the Figure 7 captions as a title. Do not include result in the caption. Label A, B and C in the figure box. No need to include right, left, down.

Overall

-          Many grammatical and typing errors such as capital letter for general words, suggest the author to re-check the whole manuscript
