Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

‘Research on’ should be removed from the manuscript title that should be reorganized. The abstract is way too general, and thus it demands substantive revision so as to accurately summarize the contents of the article (topic, current beliefs, methodology and conclusion). The second part of the Introduction section should be reconfigured as Literature review section. Try and provide more references to support your ideas that are typically substantiated by only one source. ‘gather their eyes’ – there is no such phrase. ‘The researches mentioned above, research’ – rephrase to avoid repetition. ‘Network externalities as characteristic of the telecom supply chain.’ – this should be a sentence. ‘Wang et al. [11] the optimal service’ – verb missing. ‘Then design a reasonable contract to coordinate the supply chain’ – who? ‘The research assumes a secondary telecommunications supply chain system composed of a terminal manufacturer and a telecom operator.’ – what specific research? The word ‘sustainable/sustainability’ is never mentioned throughout the manuscript. A Discussion section is missing. You should compare your results with others in terms of concrete data for better research integrative value. Conclusion needs to be rewritten so that only important results are brought out along with their interpretation, comparison with earlier studies, and implications in a more integrated fashion. There is some discussion of the limitations of the study however these are not considered in terms of the implications on the study findings. Please provide more details regarding the study limitations and strengths and what this means for the study findings. Where can future research further contribute to this area and what are the possible implications of this research on literature, practice and policy?

The relationship between 5G-related Internet of Things sensing networks and robotic wireless sensor networks as regards supply chain coordination of product and service bundling based on network externalities has not been covered, and thus such recent sources should be cited:

Reviewer 2 Report

Greetings,

The paper is well conceived and well written. However, certain corrections are required for publication in this journal. Selections 2, 3 and 4 first need to insert certain references and list the papers where this has been done before. Then state what is new in the formulas used. After the results, it is necessary to write a discussion. In conclusion, give guidelines for future research. Then it is necessary to add references to a more recent date from the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 and the number of references should be greater than 50.

All best.

Dear authors,

the paper is well written and presents a game theory application between terminal manufacturers and telecom operators and focus on bundling and jointly launching terminal products with contract conditions.

Despite the overall high quality of the presentation, I found the paper really poor in terms of contribution:

1. the assumptions of the model are not challenging (this allows for analytical computation of the solutions)

2. it is not clear to me how the characteristics of the supply chain are considered in the model (other than changing the product price). The point is that it seems to me that the same model can be applied in several other settings since it does not embed characteristics of the problem.

3. the theorems and proof are done using standard algebra tools and are not that informative: the authors compute the optimal value using derivatives. I appreciate easy and not over-complicated approaches but it seems a little too much for me.

In order to increase the technical value of the problem you may (just brainstorming):

- Add real data that verify the models?

- If you want to keep your paper in the 5G approach add some peculiarity of the setting by also embedding possible 5G applications (IoT, self-driving cars, etc.)

- Use the results that you found in order to develop some optimization model (e.g. a decision-maker that wants to favor point (2) in the conclusion what should do

- Add some stochastic concepts to the model

- Explain how a decision-maker may exploit your solution?

Best Regards

Dear authors,

the quality of the paper increases. I just have the following suggestions:

- adding these two references: 10.1007/978-3-030-82397-9_5 and 10.15439/2020F100 since they report real use cases describing the application of 5G in the industrial sector.

- line 361: "proposition 3." -> "Proposition 3"

- line 414: "As Figure 2 show" -> "As Figure 2 shows"

Best Regards
