The manuscript entitled “Research and Analysis on Influencing Factors of China's carbon emissions based on panel quantile model” by Liu and co-authors presents a panel quantile STIRPAT model to estimate different quantiles effects of per capita disposable income, industrial structure, urbanization level, average family size, and technological innovation level on carbon emissions. The article is overall Ok (although not great), but its presentation needs to be way better. Please see below more specific comments.
Abstract
L.8. Change “and China has” for “and the country has”.
L.10. Change “the article” for “this study”.
L.11. Change “size and” for “size, and”.
L.13. Change “model. impact” for “model impact”.
L.14-15. Here, it is correct the use of the word “obvious”?
L.15. Change “size and technological” for “size, and technological”.
L.16. This part: “The most important thing” is not proper scientific writing.
L.21. Change “level and average” for “level, and average”.
L.22. Here, maybe “higher” is a better term than “more important”. Delete this: “. powerful”.
Introduction
L.37. Can China still be considered as an “emerging” country?
L.45-47. This political statement does not belong in a scientific article. Please delete this part.
L.48-49. Please put this data taking inflation into account. In other words, in today`s money (or in 2019 money), what is the equivalent of those 171 yuan per capita in 1978?
L.50. Change this “to pursue a happier life” for “to expend more”.
L.53-54. Again, this part: “work in peace and contentment”, does not belong here.
L.60. Change “in 1978. 54.3%” for “in 1978 to 54.3%”.
L.61-63. This part is not necessary, as it was mentioned just right before (L.57-60).

Dear Authors, Its a good study. However, the manuscript has been written, in some part casually. Please make the changes as suggested.
Line 13: Please remove full stop after model
Line 34-35:
“Global 34 carbon emissions are projected to increase by 30% from 2010 levels by 2030”, please add appropriate reference here and elsewhere where such statements have been made. The introduction section needs to be adequately referenced. There is not a single reference in the introduction section. Please cite the sources of the information presented.
Also mention the objectives/hypothesis of the study appropriately.
Line 104: Please briefly elaborate STIRPAT model here
150-151: “I” should be in small letter and “a” in capital. Please also check all other equations carefully
Line 168: Please change “my country’s “ to China’s here and in rest of the text
Line 331: Please remove full stop after increases..also check throughout the manuscript..it seems there are many such mistakes
Figure 3: Please check the X-Axis..make it 0.1,0.2 etc as in other figures
