Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Valuable work has been done that has produced comprehensive information on the relationship between social capital and quality of life and sustainable agriculture. Appropriate statistical methods have been used. However, it would have been better to use a larger statistical population. This work deserves to be accepted in my opinion. However, some changes need to be made before it can be accepted.

-          English language should be corrected by a skilled native expert. A revision of the English is mandatory.

-          Please summarize the introduction section and focus on the objectives of this research.

-          The materials and methods were well written and the methods used were well described.

-          The discussion is well written and thus could better address the results obtained. The discussion needs to be improved.

-          Conclusion: It is interesting if the authors use the novelty of the data to make a logical and correct connection between social capital with quality of life and sustainable agriculture.

The manuscript entitled “Structural Model of Social Capital and Quality of Life of Farmers in Supporting Sustainable Agriculture (Evidence: Se- dayulawas Village, Lamongan Regency-Indonesia)” is interesting but I want to add my comments:

Please start your abstract with more attractive introductive sentence.

Add future prospects at the end of the abstract section.

Please note that keywords should not include which already mention in the title such as social capital.

Please add more description of Sedayulawas Village, Brondong District, Lamongan Regency, Indonesia.

Please add some more future prospects at the end of the conclusion section

This study uses descriptive analysis to determine the relationship between social capital supporting sustainable agriculture and its quality of life, and encourages farmers to support sustainable agriculture. The structure of the article is clear, the icons are reliable, the language is smooth, and it has certain social application value. The specific revision suggestions are as follows:

1. Figure 1:The text in the picture is not clear, so it is recommended to plan again.

2. Table 1:Is it more beautiful to improve the lines of the table.

3. Table 2:There is no discussion in Table 2. It is suggested to add specific table analysis.

4. There is a slight lack of references in this study, and it is recommended to supplement.

5. Discussion:“In this study, the variables of social capital used are not 353 only trust but also trust and social networks”Language repetition error.

6. Introduction“Welfare is one of the components of quality of life; in simple terms, QoL is often  defined as the level of well-being of both individuals and society.”Lack of literature support.

7. Title 2.1. Is it more appropriate to replace "locations research" with "location introduction"?

8. 2.2. Research Design :Why choose this design method? What are the advantages?

9. Title 2.3.3 analysis does not correspond to Title 2.3. Data sources. It is recommended to improve.
