The paper is interesting considering the current context of the waste management in general and the particularities of the municipal waste. The questionnaire method used in the study can provide good insight into waste management issues.

Some recomandations refers to:

- Can be used some references for point 2.2

- More clear presented the chestionare at point 2.2.

- More scientific interpretation of the data from points 3.1 to 3.5.

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the positive impact of whole-process management measures on promoting domestic waste separation in major urban areas of Chongqing, significantly increasing residents' participation in source-separated urban domestic waste collection,but the current document has several weaknesses that must be strengthened in order to obtain a documentary result that is equal to the value of the publication.

(1) Figure 2 shows the comparison about the composition of MSW in 2011 and 2015, the data is relatively old, it is suggested to take the MSW data of Chongqing in the last five years for a comparative analysis.

(2) The number of participants in the questionnaire in Table 2 is small and does not fully represent the subjective wishes of Chongqing residents, and the capacity of the data needs to be improved.

(3) Figure 3 and Figure 4 are too blurred and should be replaced to improve the clarity of the image.
