Reviewer 2 Report

Thank you for giving me an opportunity to review this paper. The topic of this paper is interesting and has good potential. However, although the research findings are meaningful, I do have some concerns about this study’s theoretical development and conclusion.

1. I do not find some of the recent works in either of the area such as Cultural Values and Personal Values. I recommend the author conduct a more robust literature review.

2. Additionally, there are no implications for theory or practice. Only a few comments are summarized as general advice in the final recommendations section.

3. Many paragraphs are overly long and have too many ideas; instead, a paragraph should have a single topic that is supported by themed paragraphs, which are groups of paragraphs grouped together under a common theme. If a paragraph has too many concepts, it will be longer and harder to read.

Reviewer 3 Report

1. The originality of this paper has the potential to significantly advance the area. As it is now set up, this contribution isn't highlighted.

2. From the abstract to the introduction, this should be handled by highlighting the conceptual aspect of the article and refraining from presenting it as a paper based on actual research.

3. The title must make it clear that the paper is theoretical rather than an empirical investigation.

4. The methodologies employed in the literature review to support their understanding of how frameworks of cultural value orientation and personal value systems might be applied in hospitality and tourism are not fully described in this research.

5. It is necessary to talk more about the potential effects of applying personal values to hospitality as opposed to cultural values. How will academics carry on this work? What practical approaches are there for practitioners to use these findings?
