Reviewer 2 Report

A very interesting and useful article that is definitely of high interest to all of educators, teachers in University who are confronted with the recently new realm of being exposed to technological world.

Here are some very minor comments:

1) Methodology: how many people responded to your questionnaire? What does "almost" 172 mean?

For all five challenges you present, what countries/continents are you referring to? If the world, make it explicit. For example, you use % when comparing 2017 year with 2014, what region are you talking about?

Table 3: you have "critical thinking" listed twice

For the second survey, I see some responses include kids and teens. Are you still focusing on Higher education? You need to make it clear, so there is a better flow and better relevance to higher education.

Could you please define Social Media-Based Learning slightly more? How will it help students, using social media achieve better learning?
