Article: COVID-19 in the Workplace in Indonesia

This is an interesting and challenging topic in the context of the pandemic crisis worldwide.  But there are still many correction and missing:

  1. Abstract: In this research, the data is taken through in-depth interview. Why are in-depth interviews conducted with certain agencies and organization such as the Ministry of Manpower, industry related to agriculture and animal husbandry, construction, manufacturing, logistics and good transportation industries? Findings related to objective number 2 have not been clearly conveyed in the abstract.
  2. Result: The results need to be analyzed in more detail and compared with references and research results that have existed before.
  3. Conclusion: The conclusions do not describe the results and are not in accordance with the research objectives.
  4. Acknowledgment: The sentence in this acknowledgment is dubious. Has the article been presented at the symposium and published in the proceedings? If it has been published in the proceedings, there will be double publication.
  5. References: The number of references is very less, only 19 and more are sourced from websites. Very lacking in taking references from journals, as well as from sustainability journals, and still not comparing with the results of relevant research in Indonesia. Some of the references that may be relevant are:

The authors had done an interesting study on the COVID-19 prevention and control implementation in workplaces in Indonesia. The good point is that there has been no comprehensive on COVID-19- related studies in the workplace. This study provided new insight into the actual situation in the workplace. However, there is a concern in this paper, particularly in the research method and conclusion withdrawn, which I listed as follows;

1. The author needs to explain the company selection and
general company data in detail. Is the company spread across all regions in Indonesia or only on certain islands? Also, with this kind of sampling method, how does the author generalizes their finding. Please add the information about certain biases, if any, in the discussion section.

2. There is some ambiguity in this paper. In the discussion chapter, the author said that the company had implemented the covid protocol in the company. At the same time, you also conveyed in the concluding chapter that the workers' implementation of the health protocol was relatively low based on the company's report on how the author explains this.

3. the author mentions COVID-19 pandemic fatigue in the discussion section. May, the author, based on this research, outlines the basis of this terminology.

These are my comment on this paper.
