Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The research carried out in the manuscript is noteworthy and well organized. The topic of the study is very interesting and current, and the authors define an original methodological approach. Hence, minor revisions are required before the publication of the paper.

However, some general advices are needed. It is necessary to format all the tables according to the rules of the journal; also, it required to define all the acronym in full version before using them (for example line 32 GDP).

In the introduction it is advisable to add some references in line 35 and some temporal information to the affirmation in line 39. Also, at the end of the introduction it is necessary to add a small paragraph  to describe the content of the subsequent section of the paper.

In section 2 is necessary to explain to motivate the selection of the indicator and their sources.

Section 3 is very well organized; however it is essential to explain the content of all the formula reported in the draft and, if the formula are not elaborated from the authors, referrences are required. In figures 4 and 5 it is advisable to add some description to the legend.

Reviewer 2 Report

The study used coupling and coordination analysis to analyze the digital rural construction in Zhejiang province, China. Overall, I think the study is interesting and would contribute to the literature. But there are several points not clear to me.

  1. The abstract is not clear and does not summarize the study very well. I suggest authors rephrase the abstract.
  2. The definition of digital rural construction is not clear to me. It would be helpful if authors could explain the definition in the beginning.
  3. The objectives of the methodologies are not clear. Why did authors decide to use the methodologies and how the results from the methodologies contribute to authors' conclusions.

1. The abstract needs to be rewritten. The summary should briefly mention the few results For example, write that the ability of innovation and technology in Zhejiang Province has increased from 17.08% in 2017 to 46.37% in 2018.

2. The entropy method is mentioned in the abstract but is not explained in the research method. It is better to give more explanation.

3. Authors should use theories of sustainable rural development, down to up development strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship theory more, and further analyze the relationship between digital village and sustainable rural development.

4. Authors should pay attention to the situation of science and technology parks and technology and innovation growth centers in the Zhejiang province. Also, use the innovation and creativity of knowledge-based companies in the Zhejiang province to better analyze their article.

5. Pay attention to the competitive advantages and in the introduction section of the Zhejiang province, this index should be expressed more for the reader.

6. A scientific and research article should use more and newer sources to increase its credibility.
