Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

There are several serious problems with this paper:

  1. There is no clear relation between sustainability and the scope of the paper.
  2. In the introduction, no theoretical background or definitions related to sustainable development.
  3. Authors should consider submitting the paper to other journals than form the scope of sustainable development.
  4. I do not believe that selection of those few variables is sufficient to formulate the presented hypothesis, it needs strong explanations.
  5. Conclusions do not bring any recommendation for the future, practical implications.
