Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

You must clearly detail the search equation in your bibliometric selection.

It is essential to improve the clarity in the article, for an understanding of practical readers and educators.

It is essential to contribute more recent international studies from high-impact journals. There are too many outdated references.

Overall it's a good job, congratulations

This paper succinctly reviews recent progress in growth mindset and self regulated learning in relation to post-pandemic learning tasks in smart devices. The authors provide a critical evaluation of complex interplay between various factors that can impact learning motivation and well-being in the post-pandemic era from the existing studies.

However, kindly refer to the following details for review comments.

2.     Whether e-learning has a greater impact on student motivation and outcomes than face-to-face learning, or vice versa.

3.     However the authors are required to include recent work on the learning motivation of the post-pandemic era.

4.     The author should provide enough background information to provide the study's key outcomes

5.     More emphasis is needed in interpreting the primary literature on smart devices utilization and student well-being.

6.     The author needs to identify the limitations of existing studies.

7.     While e-Learning and face-to-face students may differ in academic outcomes, considering lack of social connection aspect, does e-learning stimulate student motivation

Thank you for submitting you paper for sustainability. This is a well-written paper that covers an interesting topic. However, there are a few concerns that need to addressed by the authors.

1. In the introduction, it is essential to emphasize the significance of this work, which can be accomplished by highlighting it towards the end. Additionally, the paper's originality should be adequately explained by underlining its key contributions to the current body of literature.

2. It is important to have a section to outline the practical implications of this research.

3. The conclusion and the research limitations are missed.

4. There are some well-established literature related to self-regulated learning is ignored. This includes but not limited to:

- Developing a Holistic Success Model for Sustainable E-Learning: A Structural Equation
Modeling Approach. Doi: https://doi.org/10.3390/su13169453

- Novel extension of the UTAUT model to understand continued usage intention of learning management systems: the role of learning tradition. Doi: https://doi.org/10.1007/s10639-021-10758-y

- Towards a Sustainable Adoption of E-Learning Systems: The Role of Self-Directed
