Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The theme of the article is very important and relevant. First of all, I congratulate the authors for a well written work. In general, the article is written with clear and well-defined sections. It presents updated and appropriate references for the type of investigation. The title is descriptive and consistent with the abstract and the article as a whole. The abstract offers an overview of the work, highlighting the objectives, the methodology used, the main results. The keywords are consistent with the article.

The introduction includes important and relevant studies that can support the research. It presents the context of the research and it ends with the research objectives. Nevertheless, some parts of the text could be better discussed. See the indications highlighted in the text. The methodology is detailed. Only a few issues were not clear and could be better explained. (see comments in text)

I would like to see more links between related literature and your results in the discussion section and explanations of the possible reasons for the divergences found.

Some other points are commented directly in the manuscript. Please verify.

I hope to find future studies that use this scale.

Reviewer 3 Report

1) Title: The terms "Financial Literacy" and "Financial Education Programs" should be capitalized in the title.

2) Lines 31-34, 372-374: These two sentences should merge into one.

3) Line 39: Since the abbreviation "FL" has already been introduced, it should be used thereafter. This issue has to be addressed along the whole manuscript. The same applies to all abbreviations introduced. The abbreviation "FI" is introduced in the abstract but then not used in the main text. Some abbreviations are used but not explained (e.g., LAC). Please proceed to make the appropriate changes.

4) Lines 83, 116, 196, 704 etc.: Contractions should not be used in formal writing.

5) Line 113: Please try to use gender-inclusive language.

6) Lines 148-150: This sentence should be divided into two separate sentences.

7) Line 168: Please capitalize the first letter of the term ("Structural Equation Model"). The same applies to Lines 460 & 478.

8) Line 198, 642-646, 702, 707 etc.: Please be careful with the use of decimal points.

9) Line 200, 210, 218, 224, 314, 351, 416, 426, 453, 455, 487 etc.: Please correct the mistypes.

10) Line 203, 215 etc: Appropriate changes should be made to in-text citations to match the journal's style.

11) Line 270: "are focused"

12) Line 374: although however

13) Line 401: Punctuation is missing.

14) Line 422: Please be consistent with the tense used while describing the methodology followed.

15) Lines 459-518: I recommend the use of tables to succinctly present the content of this section, since in its current form, it is not easy to understand.

16) Line 589: Table 3

17) Lines 604-609, 743-744: Please rephrase these sections.

18) Line 640: costumer?

19) Lines 648-804: This section should be divided into separate sections, because it is too lengthy.

20) Reference list: Appropriate changes should be made to the reference list format, to match the journal's style.
