Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The present study examines the architectural design of museums in Egypt during the past decade, with a specific focus on exploring the correlation between museum design in Egypt and its contribution towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The authors contend that the incorporation of spaces for recreation, commercial, and cultural activities in museum design significantly bolsters the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. The present study holds significant implications and offers valuable insights for the design of museums and their sustainable development. However, I do not recommend further consideration of this article due to the following reasons:

1.Relevance of title and content: The article's content is directly relevant to the subject matter indicated by the title, which pertains to an examination of the economic sustainability of the Egyptian Museum over the past decade. The paper has provided an exposition on the imperative of achieving economic sustainability in museums; however, there is a dearth of substantial research on effective strategies for realizing this goal.

2. There is no definitive approach to studying the formula. The research methods employed in this paper primarily include literature review, case analysis, etc. However, achieving museum economic sustainability necessitates data support, and your chosen research method does not adequately substantiate your research findings.

3. The article's structure and logical flow are disorganized, lacking clarity and making it difficult to comprehend. It is recommended to restructure the paper in order to ensure a smooth and reader-friendly logic. For instance, incorporating the theoretical background section into the introduction would be beneficial. Additionally, parts 5 (results and discussion), 6 (conclusions), and 7 (suggestions) appear confusingly presented; therefore, they should be summarized and integrated.

4.Insufficient data analysis: The article provides data on the museum entrance area, exhibition hall, and other functional areas, offering readers an intuitive understanding of the museum's structure and significance. However, the data analysis method is incomplete and lacks reliability in terms of its source.

5.Conclusion: It is suggested that the conclusion should be clearly marked and the main findings and significance of the research should be summarized in the conclusion.

The only proposition is to reflect if before the SDGs notion was defined/formulated, museums did not in fact had been practising what is nowadays called Socio-Economic Sustainability? History of museums ' arrangement and roles is reach and long, and consists of many examples. It would be great to mention how this museums ' "significant role in supporting socio-economic  sustainability" was slowly built up and improve.

The article has an interesting topic, but in terms of the method, there is some ambiguity in it. It should be specified which qualitative approach is used in it. Also, its innovation compared to similar articles should be explained more.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

Its language quality is good and understandable. But it is better to avoid very long sentences and also avoid using passive verbs as much as possible.

The document is an academic article that delves into the evolution of Egyptian museums in the context of socio-economic sustainability.

The article that outlines the significant transformation contemporary museums have undergone over recent decades. These institutions have evolved into public spaces that foster socio-economic sustainability by incorporating recreational, commercial, and cultural activities. This shift has significantly altered public perception and the functional design of museums worldwide. The study aims to assess the evolution of Egyptian museums over the last decade and the extent to which these changes in museum design contribute to fulfilling Egypt's SDGs. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review and a comparative analysis of selected case studies. The findings suggest that the modern design of recent Egyptian museums, which includes social and economic activities, significantly supports both national and global agendas in terms of SDGs, providing clear design criteria for architects, designers, and policymakers.

The paper is generally well-structured with a clear progression from introduction to conclusion. However, some sections would benefit from further development. For instance, the literature review could provide a more comprehensive overview of existing research in this field, and the conclusion could be expanded to more clearly articulate the paper's contributions to both theory and practice.

Methodology: The paper adopts a qualitative methodology, which is appropriate for the exploratory nature of the research. The use of a literature review to understand the context and historical evolution of museum designs is sound. However, the research would benefit from a more detailed explanation of the case study selection criteria. Why were these specific museums chosen for analysis? Are they representative of broader trends in Egyptian museums, or do they represent outliers?

Data Analysis: The paper mentions a comparative analysis of selected case studies but lacks depth in the presentation of this analysis. The reader would benefit from a more detailed comparison between the case studies and perhaps even a comparison with museums outside of Egypt to understand the global context. Additionally, while the paper discusses the contemporary design of museums, it doesn't quantify how these designs contribute to socio-economic sustainability. The introduction of specific metrics or indicators of socio-economic sustainability would strengthen the analysis.

Innovation:

The paper addresses an under-researched area by linking the architectural design of museums to socio-economic sustainability, providing a fresh perspective on museum studies. The focus on Egyptian museums offers valuable insights into a region that is often underrepresented in global discussions.

However, the paper could push this innovation further by providing more concrete recommendations for museum design. While it suggests that modern designs support national and global SDGs, it stops short of identifying specific design elements that contribute to this support. A more detailed analysis of how certain design choices impact socio-economic factors would represent a significant contribution to the field.

Research Significance:

The research's exploration of how museum design can contribute to broader socio-economic goals is highly significant, especially in the context of the global push towards achieving the SDGs. By highlighting the role of cultural institutions in promoting sustainability, the paper could influence policy and funding decisions.

However, the paper's significance is somewhat limited by its narrow focus on Egyptian museums. While this offers depth of insight into the Egyptian context, it's not clear how the findings might translate to other cultural and geographic contexts. The paper could enhance its significance by discussing the implications of its findings for museum design more broadly.

This article delves into the performance and evolution of Egypt's museums in terms of social and economic sustainability. Through a comparison of research results between 2012 and 2023, as well as Egypt's Sustainable Development Goals, the article conducts an analysis of the evolution of Egypt's museum design. I believe further modifications are required.

1.    In terms of research methods, the author employed qualitative research methods, mainly including literature review and case analysis. To enhance the reliability and validity of the research, it is recommended that the author use quantitative research methods in future studies to further verify and provide more accurate recommendations.

2.     In lines 295-306 of the paper, the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art in Finland is used as an example to illustrate the role of museums in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The number of visitors in 1998 and 2011 was used. In order to make the study more realistic and valuable, it is suggested to use the cases in recent years or the visitor data in recent years. At the same time, in order to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the data, the source of the data needs to be clearly labeled. icture 3, the source of the picture should be indicated.

3.    Picture 3, the source of the picture should be indicated.

4.    In Table 4, data such as "5,800 new job opportunities" are mentioned, and the source of the data should be indicated.
