Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper presented a study to measure the increasing role of mall environment and mall value on preference, and loyalty. The study proposes three hypotheses: the first is interested in customer perception of the mall environment, while the second is related to customer perception of the mall value. The last one combined both. Overall, the article showed a good idea and is well-written. However, from the current version of the article, there are some weaknesses that the authors should particularly pay attention to and handle:

1. Usually, abbreviations are written in branches beside the original word. For example, you wrote "Cronbach alpha" and "Composite reliability" without writing abbreviations. So, you have to check all of them.

2.  Most of the related works are a little bit old. So, it is better to use recent related work and references.

3. You mentioned that your contribution to the literature was premised on earlier results from several studies, but you did not compare your results with them.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear authors, thanks for your research.

The study of factors affecting consumer loyalty is an important topic. I think this article has an good structure, but it has to be improved:

1. Please add more relevant sources at introduction or literature review section (not older than 2018)

2. Materials and Method has to be improved. The methods of evaluating the results obtained in the survey should be explained in more detail. Why were they chosen? How does this relate to the object of study?

3. it is worth highlighting the limitations of the study

4. it is necessary to separately highlight what features of a given territorial entity should be taken into account when conducting such a study.

5 in the results section, it is worth explaining in more detail what the obtained indicators values mean

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors improved their manuscript significantly. After light editorial corrections, I believe this paper may be accepted for publication. But I have only one comment

- You mentioned that your contribution to the literature was premised on earlier results from several studies, but you did not compare your results with them

Author Response

Thank you for the minor revision.

The findings have been aligned to the context of Nigeria. Please see attached document
