The authors of this article deal with very interesting topics. However, the introduction and method sections should be improved by specifying important topics such as explaining eco-environmental factors and what geodetection consists of (especially in the introduction). Following are some minor comments helpful to the authors.

Abstract

l Please specify what and how the eco-environmental factors were selected.  

 

Introductions section

l Introductions need to be improved by adding some references to unclear concepts (lines 47-48).

l Please specify some unclear concepts in lines 76-78 that require a better explanation.

l In this section It is not clear what eco-environmental factors have been analyzed and how the urbanization development has been measured.

l It would also be advisable to include more information on the spatial tools/software used in this study.  

 

Materials and methods section

l The description of the study area is missing. It would be also advisable to include information on its climate classification (for example on the basis of the Köppen-Geiger climate classification, doi:10.1127/0941-2948/2010/0430).  

l Please specify the reason why 2008-2020 years were selected in this study.

Following previous observations, the discussion and conclusion sections require a reorganization by adding a study limitation section.

The authors investigated geographical detection analysis for coupling coordination development between urbanization and the eco-environment. The appropriate studies are always welcome in human needs. Some important points are important to be addressed before going to consider the possible publication in this journal.

 

-The English language needs to check carefully in the revision stage because of many careless mistakes in many positions.

 

-The Figures quality needs to be improved in the revision stage.

 

-References: There are many references that are not adjacent to this study. The authors need to take notes in the revision stage and cite relevant references including high-impact journals as defined by the Awual group to make the manuscript to a broad range of readers.

 

-Abstract: This section needs to be improved by presenting novel findings with the main experimental output in the revision stage.

 

-Introduction: Diverse studies are growing attention for diverse uses as reported by the Awual group according to ScienceDirect. The authors need to indicate such points for a broad range of readers. Moreover, the authors need to cite high-impact articles to make the manuscript high-level. The following specific articles may take be noted in the revision stage of Journal of Molecular Liquids, 371 (2023) 121125; Chemical Engineering Journal, 266 (2015) 368–375; Journal of Molecular Structure, 1276 (2023) 134795.

 

-The characterization is not accurate. The morphology needs to be added and then compared with reported materials as reported by the Awual group for a broad range of reader understanding.

I would like to see the revised manuscript.
