Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The sustainability topic is up to date. The methodology of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) is also reasonable. And the comparison between Pakistani and Chinese students is also interesting.

However, the reasons for different results (ex., H2, and especially H3b) must be clarified. And what do you think about the relationship between study satisfaction and sustainable development program?

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear authors, your research is very up-to-date and clearly organized. I find the topic very interesting.

I would recommend to check the formatting in the paragraph 4.3. (especially 4.3.3, 4.3.4. and 4.3.5). Also, the table 8 and Table 10 are split in two pages.

Further, I would re-consider the statement in the line 644: "This study supports the hypothesis of the total student population and Chinese students", since the research sample was limited to a little number of universities.

Reviewer 3 Report

The state of the art on sustainable development in Higher Education is consistent, the manuscript represents a contribution to the literature if the following corrections are made:

1.Item 4. describes the study methodology should not be called Result but Methodology. There describe the type of investigation.

2. It is necessary to establish the limitations and future lines of research on the subject. Add a new item.

3.Review the percentage of similarity (26%).
