Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors, Thank you very much for your work. This is interesting. In this sense, and with a view to improving its quality, the following aspects are recommended: 1. Review all the citations and all the references and adjust them to the format of the journal (some do not meet this criteria). 2. Also include more current quotes on the subject. 3. Develop in greater detail the theoretical framework of the work. 4. It is suggested to improve the sample description table to favor the clarity of the information. 5. Modify the presentation of the results. This is not easy to follow. 6. It would be convenient to adapt the content of some table by a figure. 7. It is recommended to include the instrument used in an annex. 8. It is suggested to reinforce and optimize the discussion of the work, its application, as well as its link with previous studies.

The research methodology of this study is based heavily on quantitative 162 methodology. Indeed, many reasons encourage the scholar’s choice in adopting it 163 such as:(i) collecting data from large participants rapidly,(ii) the sample is selected 164 randomly, and (iii) the findings can be generalized because it represents large sam-165 ple [27].

The study recommends the followings: (i) Providing training courses 459 and professional development programs that develop the teachers' readiness to use 460 modern technological learning spaces,(ii) Linking aspects of the use of modern 461 technological learning spaces with the personal aspects of students, such as in-462 creasing the level of their academic self-concept and academic self-efficacy, (iii) 463 Conducting future studies dealing with the degree of teachers' readiness to use 464 modern technological learning spaces with the behavioral and emotional variables 465 of students. 466

This study suggests some future studies that pertain to modern technological 467 learning spaces, such as: the role of parents in technological learning spaces; the 468 impact of COVID-19 on modern technological learning spaces; and the relationship 469 between modern technological learning spaces and kindergartens.

Reviewer 3 Report

1. The study used statistical analysis to investigate teachers’ digital competence in engaging ICT. 2. The topic is relevant in the field. 3. The study complements the field especially considering the opportunities brought by the pandemic 4. The credibility can be further strengthened by conducting other tests, such as factor analysis, to demonstrate the questionnaire's reliability. Was the questionnaire distributed to 21000 teachers? Or what is the response rate given the 412 responses collected? 5. The conclusion is consistent with the data 6. Personally, I have not seen the reference style used in this paper. Please double-check with the journal.

7. I recommend the author reconstruct Table 1.
