This paper evaluates China's aging process in terms of the country's sustainable development. Model results established with regional panel data show that the aging of the population in China affects economic growth negatively.

The theoretical background can be better reflected in the introduction part of the study. The connection between the ageing of the region's population, economic growth and savings should be revealed. Literature should be used more in this direction. The gaps in the literature should be identified and the contribution of this study to the literature should be stated.

On the other hand, the paper has too long sentences. Long and convoluted sentences affect comprehension and readability. Therefore, I suggest simplifying the sentences for the reader.

The effects of population aging on economic growth attract more attention from global economists. Aging in China is different from other countries. This study is meaningful for ensuring sustainable development in China.

 My comments are following:

1. In line 27, The report ‘’The Aging of Population and its Economic and Social Implications"should be cited according to the standard format.

2. It is suggested that the literature in the introduction needs to be improved. The latest literature related to the economic effects of aging should be added, especially the channels of aging affecting economic growth.

3. The difference between this paper and existing studies is not clearly argued.

4. The results of Table 1 should be present in the text.

5. Why does the PVAR model not consider control variables in Line 154?

6. Which literature is the point in Lines 200–201 cited from?

7. This study analyzesthe effects of China's aging on economic growth under the paths of resident consumption and national saving. Why other paths  are not considered, such as innovation?

The manuscript titled “Dynamic Analysis of Aging on China's Sustainable Economic Growth” looks good study. However, I have some suggestions.

1.     The authors should split the introduction section into two by creating a Literature review section.

2.      Figure 1 and Table 9 are outside of the paper; the authors should organize it

3.     The manuscript needs a professional proofreading

4.     The author provides equation numbers for all equations

5.     Impulse responses Figures are not clear; the authors might report them separately as a large picture.

  1. Add three more paragraphs (at least 150 words excluding the existing one) in the section on conclusions mentioning the limitations of the study and remedies to limitations.
